Julie Courtney is a Bay Area native and has performed for a variety of audiences throughout Northern California for over 20 years.

At 16 years old, she started competing in vocal competitions and won the grand championship for vocal performance at the California State competition in San Jose. She has also performed in several local musicals. Her vocal talents brought her to compete in the Miss America Organization as a young adult.

Julie has been featured on both local and national television shows including Live with Regis and Kelly in 2009.

Julie was approached to make an EP with Bay Area music producer Jim Bedford and song writer John Cordeiro. The EP was released in 2017 and includes songs Why Goodye, I Like the Way, Be My Baby and Love Again.

Julie encompasses a variety of genres at her shows including jazz, blues, and rock covers that are sure to please any crowd. Julie performs acoustic shows with guitarist Doug Nichols and performs at larger venues with her band, Julie Courtney and the Repercussions.
